Carettalia is a Delaware-registered B2B textile sourcing and manufacturing company with production operations in Denizli, Turkey — one of the world's leading centers for home and hotel textile production.

We serve hotels, resorts, spas, retail brands, Amazon sellers, and corporate buyers across the United States. Each factory in our network holds OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certification as a baseline. For buyers requiring GOTS, BSCI, or other certifications, we work with facilities that hold the relevant accreditations.

The Person Behind Carettalia

Hüseyin Gönüllü — Founder, Carettalia

My name is Hüseyin Gönüllü — though friends and clients who prefer it are welcome to call me Hugo.

I was born and raised in Denizli, Turkey — the city that produces a significant share of the world's Turkish towels and home textiles. My family roots are in Tavas, a district of Denizli, and I grew up with the textile industry as part of everyday life.

My career started in media. After graduating from Marmara University's School of Communication, I spent over a decade in Turkish journalism — as managing editor of BYTE Turkey and PC World Turkey, editor-in-chief of Computerworld Turkey, and later as an editor at Hürriyet, Turkey's leading national newspaper. Those years taught me how to communicate clearly, research deeply, and understand what different audiences actually need — skills that turned out to be surprisingly useful in international B2B trade.

In 2020, I made a deliberate shift toward textiles. I relocated to Denizli and quickly recognized the gap: international buyers — especially in the US — needed a reliable, English-speaking partner who could navigate Turkey's manufacturing landscape on their behalf and get things done without the friction.

Since 2021, I've been building exactly that. Carettalia LLC is the US-facing entity through which I serve international buyers directly, combining my Denizli roots, manufacturing relationships, and international trade experience into a single point of contact.

I hold an MBA degree and have completed additional training in international trade and export marketing. I'm based in Denizli and respond to inquiries within 1 business day — usually faster.
